The time is ripe for a comprehensive digital approach to simplify complex Implant Dentistry. A complete digital work flow protocol will be presented to achieve simplification. Virtual planning to fabrication, including visualization of the planned design in a shorter period of time, can be achieved for full arch restoration. This allows the clinicians and patients to visualize the final product prior to fabrication and avoid time consuming models, provisionals, and wax ups.

Course Topics and Objectives That Will Be Discussed:

·        Digital Diagnosis and Planning: Learn to capture critical reference points, 3D facial scans, plane of occlusion, and how to position digital models to plane of occlusion.

·        Scientific Smile Design: Digitizing proven gnathological techniques. Digital freedoms of scientific smile design. Accurate full arch placement through virtual reference planes. Visualizing the final product.

·        Surgical Planning: Virtual implant placement. Digital fabrication of the surgical guide.

·        Functional & Aesthetic Prototypes: Fabrication of snap on smile to assess aesthetic outcomes. Manufacturing the desired provisional. Entering day of surgery with prototype and surgical guide.

Dr. Michael E. Abrams founded and directs the Brooklyn Dental Forum, an advanced, continuing education symposium, offered several times a year, to bring the latest in dental technology and innovation to dentists, dental specialists and hygienists in the tri-state area. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) designates the Brooklyn Dental Forum with PACE status as an approved program provider of continuing education credits. Dentists and allied dental professionals are required to stay abreast of the dental field to maintain membership in the AGD. Taking courses through the Forum should enable practitioners to meet the requirement.

Glatt Kosher meals are available upon request in advance for dinner meetings.

To reserve attendance for this meeting, please return the course registration with payment by 01/18/2018 or contact Victoria Gallina @ (718) 444-3800 or vg@brooklynperio.com.
